Beaver Moon Eclipse settles us into the final month of Fall
The full moon on November 19 is not only known as the Beaver Moon, but in the early hours of the morning it was involved in a pretty magical eclipse.
This full moon brings us the ability to find security within chaos. Beavers typically seek shelter this time of year, and humans are seeking this refuge as well. Winter is coming and it’s important to understand what we will need to make it through.
On November 23 the season of Sagittarius begins, lasting until the winter solstice. Due to the changing of the seasons, this is a perfect time to look forward and test out our optimism. The moment is also right to seek higher knowledge or even knew horizons. Maybe we focus on the big picture instead of the mundane?
Watch out for: the urge to hibernate or even become antisocial. Try to say “yes” to social engagements, or any opportunity that presents itself.
Pay attention to: your third eye. Our third eye is our connection to our internal intuitions and now is the perfect time to nurture our visions.
Unblock the energy by wearing purple clothes, eating purple foods, or trying any of these intentions, the oil blend, or yoga pose described below:
Try setting one of these intentions:
I am calm and optimistic
I open myself to new energy
I am connected to the wisdom of the universe.
The perfect oil blend to try right now:
To unlock your third eye chakra—
2 drops Clary Sage
2 drops Cypress
2 drops Frankincense
2 drops Sandalwood
2 drops Vetiver

Asana of the Month: Child's Pose
From a kneeling positions, touch your big toes together and come to sit on your heels
Inhale as you separate your knees about as wide as your hips (or you may keep your knees together)
Exhale and fold forward, resting forehead on mat
Walk your hands out toward the front of your mat (or reach arms back toward your feet, palms facing up)
Here you have the option to roll your forehead side-by-side, gently massaging your third eye
